ABOUT JASON ISBELL AND THE 400 UNIT

Highly skilled musician and singer-songwritr Jason Isbell teamed up with The 400 Unit in 2009. Together they released their self-titled effort which made a mark on the Billboard 200 and Top Indie Albums chart. In 2011, the group followed their debut work with Here We Rest. The album spawned the phenomenal hit, “Alabama Pines,” which won Song of the Year at the Americana Music & Honors Awards. Six years later, Isbell teamed up with The 400 Unit again to release The Nashville Sound, which went to the top of the Country and Indie charts. The album gave birth to the viral hit single, “If We Were Vampires” , a song that later won Best American Roots Song. The Nashville Sound also won the Grammy for Best Americana Album. Isbell’s latest album with The 400 Unit is titled Weathervane, another Grammy winning album that also spawned a Grammy winning song, “Cast Iron Skillet.”
